Enrichment Programs
Cooking
Children ages two through Kindergarten participate bi-monthly in a cooking class in the Kid’s Cooking Kitchen built especially for them! Children learn to measure, recognize ingredients, learn about temperature, and develop a palate for scrumptious items like apple tarts and mini pizzas. Some ingredients used in these delicacies come from our very own garden!
Music
Experiences in music help all children grow emotionally and intellectually using creative expression in song, rhythmic movement, and listening experiences. Music in early childhood creates a foundation for learning about and enjoying music. Music classes are offered each week by our Elegant Child music teacher for infants through Kindergarteners.
Spanish
Beginning foreign language in early childhood helps students to develop higher levels of proficiencies in one or more languages. In other words, they develop an ear for language! Research also shows that children who learn a foreign language in early childhood demonstrate certain cognitive advantages over children who do not. Young learners from age 2 through Kindergarten attend Spanish class each week at the Elegant Child.
Physical Education
Our Physical Education program begins with our tiniest infants and continues through Kindergarten. Our belief is that physically active children learn habits in early childhood that can last a lifetime. Our physical education teachers make P.E. a fun and exciting experience while helping each child develop gross motor skills!
Exploration Station
In our outdoor classroom, children learn many things that nature has to teach us! Teacher-supported activities connect the outdoors to important concepts learned in early childhood. Children ages 2 through Kindergarten participate in activities that are hands-on, interactive, and engaging. From weather to gardening in our very own greenhouse, the outdoor classroom spans much of the curriculum, encouraging exploration in science, math, reading, and writing.

Tiny Picassos
Welcome to Tiny Picassos, where your child’s creativity blossoms! In this vibrant art program, children explore various forms of art—from drawing and painting to sculpting and crafting. But Tiny Picassos is more than just art—each activity is thoughtfully designed to enhance important developmental skills.
Through art, children sharpen their fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and develop the dexterity needed for tasks like writing. They also learn problem-solving, decision-making, and how to think outside the box—skills that are essential for early childhood cognitive development.
Art also plays a huge role in social and emotional growth. In Tiny Picassos, your child will express their thoughts and feelings through art, learning new ways to communicate. Group projects and peer collaboration help build social skills like sharing, patience, and teamwork.
We can’t wait to inspire your child’s imagination and lay the groundwork for a lifetime of creative exploration!
