Each week the children will be introduced to a different theme such s plants, animals or transportation. Colors, shapes and numbers are introduced to correlate with these topics.

Our Spanish, music, P.E. and cooking instructors all work together to reinforce the concepts and to help each child to achieve specific goals. Each school year builds on the previous to enable each individual to experience success. We are proud of how well all of our students test on early childhood screenings.

The Elegant Child has two curriculum coordinators on staff that oversee the entire curriculum and guide the teachers with their lesson plans. The coordinators offer suggestions and new ideas that are current within the field. The coordinators also visit the classrooms on a regular basis observing how effectively we are meeting our high accreditation standards. The coordinator visits are unannounced and their observations are discussed with the teacher in a one on one meeting. The observation is then shared with the director and owner.
