Our pre-kindergarten program offers a variety of educationally appropriate programs and activities to ensure that each child is prepared for Kindergarten socially as well as academically. Academics such as reading, writing and mathematics are emphasized daily through printing, journaling, and hands on activities such as graphing and measuring. P.E., music, Spanish and cooking are all part of our extraordinary curriculum.

When children move from the pre-kindergarten program to kindergarten, they have learned to work in a group, work independently, recognize sight words, distinguish between upper and lower case letters, correspond letter and sound recognition, and solve simple mathematic problems. Most importantly they have gained confidence, have a feeling of self worth and have had a great time learning!

Junior Kindergarten

Junior Kindergarten is offered to provide students who miss the kindergarten cut-off date with an extra “gift of time” year. This year enables them to enrich their skills and grow in social and emotional maturity. They participate in such engaging activities as P.E., music, Spanish and cooking.
