Elegant Child Learning Center has once again extended their hands to the St. Louis Community, by hosting the 14th Annual Carnival to benefit St. Anthony’s Food Pantry in the City of St. Louis. Elegant Child services over 500 families in West County and the surrounding areas, on their campus.
A nationally and state accredited learning center, they specialize in meeting the needs of working families, including a full day kindergarten. The Center has 360 kids in attendance daily, and employs 120 top-notch instructors.
“All of the families, as well as other local patrons, have generously donated wonderful items for our silent auction, including BBQ Grills, Jewelry, and much more. We truly appreciate their heartfelt giving to help meet the needs of people in need,” said Pam Bax, the Center Administrator for 16 years. Owner Debbie Roland, and Pam have worked all year long to put together this important benefit.

The Carnival included children’s games like Pie In The Face, Thomas the Train Lollipop Tree, Duck Pond, Ring Toss and more. Carnival-goers enjoyed live music by the Digital Vinyl Band, and fantastic BBQ was cooked-up by Kevin and Lynn Newman, who are nationally competitive BBQ grillers. Guests enjoyed pulled pork, brats, hot dogs and other treats. The school also prepared their infamous ‘Chicken O’s” for the kids to enjoy!

There are still a few spots available at the Learning Center, but it is a popular place because of the top quality care and instruction they provide. The Campus is located at 513 Strecker Road in Wildwood. A check from the carnival proceeds will be presented to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry in the near future. Elegant Child would like to thank everyone who touched a life by participating in this worthwhile event!
